Going up a half pipe is hard enough on a skate board, never mind a racing kart! Unfortunately for all you trophy hunters out there getting that hunk of metal up a half pipe is a necessary torture.

Same as with a fair few of the short cuts found in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled the angle in which you approach the shortcut is key, as is the timing of your jump. The Half-Pipe Karting trophy is unlocked following the use of the Sewer Speedway shortcut, the fourth race found within the opening area of the game.

As you begin the track there are two options in how to proceed, take the bottom path, which ever way you choose make sure you are on the lower part of the track. This gives you the best run up to the half pipe. As you enter the stretch filled with the half pipe track you will see a high up opening indicating the shortcut. Timing of the jump you perform at the top of the pipe is key, timing is essential here.

Approach the shortcut directly, if you on the opposite side you will get a small speed boost going down one half pipe to go up the other. The video below demonstrates how to do this effectively.
