I have the great joy of saying I have been nominated for the sunshine blogger award! My nomination has come from Luna of GamersUnitedGG, if you haven’t checked out their blog before then I strongly recommend that you do. They have some amazing content especially if you are a video game lover such as myself, it is a blog I enjoy following and I can’t recommend it enough.

The questions asked by Luna:
1. Why did you start blogging?
I absolutely love all things video game, well all things nerdy really, and I wanted to share my thoughts and opinions with like minded individuals. It has also been great to see what content other bloggers post, there are some truly amazing bloggers out there that post great content that makes for an interesting read.
2. What is your favourite party game?
I have never is always a fun one! It never ceases to amaze me at the things I learn about people from that game! Be prepared that you or others may not look at each other the same again. Though I think every one can agree that Mario Kart is more than welcome anytime!
3. If you were in the winter Olympics, what would be your sport?
Now that is a tough one, one of my favourite sports to watch has to be ice hockey, which is a real pain living in the UK. But I have always wanted to try snowboarding, I am a bit of an adrenaline junkie and I’m always looking for my next adventure, you know assuming I don’t break my neck on the slopes lol.
4. If you were in the summer Olympics, what would be your sport?
I used to compete a lot in athletics going so far as to make it to national champion in the discus and shot put, it can be a lot of fun throwing things especially when you imagine someone you could be throwing them at! Just don’t do the training when still slightly drunk….
5. Who’s your favourite villain?

Oooh now that is a tough one, naturally I will give a shout out to my main girl Harley Quinn but as she does bat for the side of good once in a while she is going to have to miss out on this spot. I think I will give this to Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill series. He is a terrifying being to look at, truly menacing but what is perhaps the most interesting yet terrifying thing about is how he is a metaphor, he represents the regret that James feels, ultimately Pyramid Head represents his desire for punishment, a torturous punishment at that. I have never truly experienced immense fear when playing a video game except for my horrific journey through Silent Hill 2 and that was all thanks to this guy.
6. Zombies, Aliens or Mutants?
ZOMBIES!
7. In a horde mode, who or what are you fighting?
I have always wondered how I would fare in a zombie apocalypse and this would be my chance, do I use a blunt object like a baseball bat? Or do I shoot em up! So many options for dealing with this horde, yeah it is going to be fun.
8. Describe your perfect day.
A boxset of one of my favourite animes or movies, a big pizza with all the toppings and as much junk food as I can possibly have for the day, and whatever game it is I have immersed myself in at the time. Spending some time with my friends, mostly shooting them or beating the hell out of them in one of our favourite games is a highlight. While I do like to go out and do different things nothing quite beats being at home chilled out with some good games and good company
9. What is your favourite video game genre to play?
RPG, no question. I love the vast open worlds laid out before you just begging to be explored, creating my character and choosing their path as I would my own is an amazing experience. I get so lost in the world of RPGs that I don’t want to come back to reality, I get so immersed in what I am doing, if the characters have been done well you care about what could happen to them or perhaps you think damn, I can’t wait to stab that idiot in the back.
10. If you could have a career in video games, what would you want to do?
Character development would definitely be the role for me, I love creating characters, giving them a personality, choosing the events in their life that has defined them. You can make a character as simple or as complex you like, the possibilities are endless and I would love nothing more than to create these individuals that would help to shape their world.
